Who I am
After succeeding in high school, I decided to challenge myself by attending a school with 40,000 students. My first lesson was that I should have been learning in my free time. I was shocked to find students who knew so much about cars, computers, drones, politics, and ingenuity.

I soon realized that I had the same opportunity as everyone else so why did I spend my Saturdays watching football every weekend? I was infuriated at myself and by the end of my sophomore year I was soaking up as much information as I could.

I now spend my free time listening to podcasts, watching educational YouTube, and most importantly creating. My goal is to either be learning or enjoying my time with friends.
Interests and Hobbies
Other Than the Usual
To provide a fuller image of myself, I wanted to provide my interests. I still play video games and waste time on social media, but here are some more activities that define me.
Financials
Money brings so much freedom. A lack of money brings so much stress. So in 2016, I decided I wanted to be rich. I started with basic personal finance advice like saving and spending wisely. Then I moved toward investments and retirement planning. Now, I fully listen to podcasts, read articles and books, and keep up with financial news to educate myself while I am young.
Athletics
Interest in sports has always been constant in my life, yet I have always done a variety. Currently I play roller hockey, golf, and whatever intramural sport is available. I have always followed professional sports and have roots in all of the Pittsburgh teams. Sports are still one of the best ways to connect with people.
Educational Podcasts
In my goal to learn as much as possible, listening to podcasts was a cheap, easy solution. My taste varies depending on my situation, but the most common ones are shown here. Let me know if you have recommendations!
Projects
Especially in the summer, I like to create. Sometimes I want to learn something cool or analyze something to improve my life. When I was younger, I learned how to juggle and pick locks to impress friends, but now I usually try to make my life more efficient or learn something more useful.

In my four years at State College I have grown exponentially from my bored high school self. I enjoy being busy and learning no matter the occasion. My goal is to continually grow with projects, travel, and people. I am determined to fail over and over again in achieving perfection in everything that I do.
